This may be one of the coolest lamps we have made to date. If you have even a casual interest in the style of society in the 50s and 60s you will be familiar with the twin lens reflex camera. Back before there was one lens which you viewed before you shot there was a brief interlude when the very coolest cameras had two lenses. One to view, one to shoot.
These weren't low cost popular models. These were serious amateur or professional cameras. Essentially what was happening on the old school large format black and white film was reflected through prisms and ground glass so the photographer could see what they would get.
These were the kind of cameras which made Any Warhol and Man Ray made famous.
What we have done is turn a tired and essentially functionless camera from 70 years ago into a stylish feature lamp. You can't buy film to load in it, if you could you can't get it processed and you can't get prints. But while you can probably take better pictures with the camera on your phone, your phone will never be as cool and unique as our lamp. You will be the only person you know who has one of these unique creations...enjoy.
